The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

The draw distance is massively improved on the Switch 2, making those rolling hills near the Imperial City feel truly vast for the first time. I spent an hour just wandering and taking in the updated lighting—it’s a whole new way to experience Cyrodiil.

I’ve been playing through the remaster on Switch 2 and the improved draw distance makes exploring Cyrodiil’s forests feel completely fresh. The 60fps framerate really smooths out combat and dungeon crawling too.

The lockpicking minigame feels so much smoother with the Switch 2's haptic feedback, it's a joy to tinker with. I've already sunk ten hours just exploring the updated forests around Chorrol and noticing new ambient sounds. A fantastic way to revisit a classic world.
